Those ihost24 sites that include Twitter social plugins connect directly to Twitter’s servers through your browser when you open them. If you are logged in to Twitter at this time, visiting the ihost24 website and all of your interaction with the social plug-ins (such as clicking the “Tweet” button) may be associated with your Twitter profile and stored on Twitter. - Facebook Pixel
Within our website we use the “visitor action pixel” of Facebook Inc., 1601 S. California Ave, Palo Alto, CA 94304, USA (“Facebook”). With its help, we can better understand how visitors use our website after they’ve seen or clicked a Facebook ad. This allows us to track the effectiveness of Facebook advertising for statistical and market research purposes. The data collected in this way is anonymous for us, we do not see the personal data of individual users. - Access Information/Server Log files
As a hosting provider, we collect logs about every access to our servers (so-called server log files). Access data includes:
Name of the retrieved web page, file, date and time of retrieval, amount of data transferred, notification of successful retrieval, browser type and version, the user’s operating system, referrer URL (the previously visited page), IP address and the requesting provider, as well as by mail Logs the IP address, the port, the IP address of the sending server, as well as the own IP addresses, sender e-mail address and delivery e-mail address.
We need this data for technical operation, to detect problems and to evaluate the load on our servers, as well as to ward off dangers or attacks. Because we do not merge data or create user profiles, the IP number in logfiles is completely anonymous and does not allow any conclusion of the personal data of the internet-access owner.
ihost24 uses historical data only for statistical analysis for the purpose of operation, security and optimization of our technical infrastructure. Server log files are deleted on ihost24 withing a period of 14 days.
- Data Security
Unfortunately, the transmission of information over the Internet is not completely secure, which is why ihost24 can not guarantee the security of the data transmitted to the ihost24 systems over the Internet. However, ihost24 secures its systems through technical and organizational measures against loss, destruction, access, modification or dissemination of your data by unauthorized persons. In particular, your personal data is encrypted with us. ihost24 uses encryption with SSL (Secure Socket Layer) [resp. TLS (Transport Layer Security)].
- Your Rights and Obligations
You always have the right to receive information about the data stored by us. You can even see in your customer area which data from you is stored on our systems.
In addition, you have the right that we delete your data at your request, if they are not mandatory for the provision of a service we offer you based on our business relation on your behalf as a customer.
You will keep your data up-to-date with us. You can do this yourself in your customer area. When you process data from your customers or employees with us, you need a data processessing agreement according to the GDPR. We, as your data importer offer you a contract as data exporter where we confirm compliance with applicable data protection rules in accordance with the GDPR by the European Union. You can also create this contract in your customer area and download it as a PDF.
